Sarah J. Maas’ Queen of Shadows – the fourth book in the Throne of Glass series – is to become a television show, according to Deadline. The Mark Gordon Company will produce the Hulu development.
Queen of Shadows follows Celaena Sardothien, an assassin who has returned to her kingdom to fight against a tyrant king. But before she can reclaim her throne, she must come face-to-face with the shadows of her life and all of the people in it.
Kira Snyder will write the Throne of Glass TV show adaptation, with Anna Foerster to direct. Mark Gordon and Nick Pepper are also slated to be executive producers of the show. There is no news on whether the series will truly begin with Queen of Shadows or if they will go back and begin the adaptation with the first book in the series.
