MARV Films will produce a movie based on the ghostgirl series by Tonya Hurley, according to The Wrap.
The ghostgirl books follows Charlotte Usher’s quest to become popular and kiss the cutest boy in school, even after her death.
“I am beyond thrilled to have ghostgirl in the hands of such creative, capable and passionate filmmakers,” Hurley told The Wrap. “I’m a raging Matthew Vaughn fan and I look forward to working with him, Val, and the whole team at Marv. To see Charlotte Usher come to life is a dream come true for me and for all the devoted ghostgirl fans around the world.”
Valerie Van Galder will co-produce the ghostgirl movie with Vaughn.
