YA authors attending World Fantasy Convention


This year’s World Fantasy Convention will be held in Brighton, U.K. from October 31st to November 3rd.  Two YA-centric panels are scheduled for the event: ‘How Far Should YA Go?’ and ‘Are All the Best Genre Books Now YA?’  Several young adult authors will be in attendance, including:

  • Sarah Rees Brennan (The Lyburn Legacy)
  • Susan Cooper (The Dark is Rising)
  • Alison Goodman (Eon)
  • Will Hill (Department 19)
  • Garth Nix (The Abhorsen Chronicles)
  • Jana Oliver (The Demon Hunter’s Daughter)
  • Philip Reeve (Mortal Engines)
  • Elizabeth Wein (Code Name Verity)
