X-FILES YA books to hit shelves in January 2017

Fans of “The X-Files” will be stoked to hear that Mulder and Scully will be joining the YA world. Two X-Files YA books, Agent of Chaos and Devil’s Advocate, will launch Macmillan’s new X-Files Origins book series in January 2017.

“The X-Files” originally launched in 1993, though a new revival of the show began earlier this year. The Fox TV series follows Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) as they solve X-File cases dealing with paranormal phenomena.

Both X-Files YA books will be set in the spring of 1979, when Scully and Mulder were teens. Agent of Chaos follows Mulder and will be written by Beautiful Creatures author Kami Garcia. Devil’s Advocate follows Scully and will be written by Rot & Ruin author Jonathan Maberry.

Both stories will release in January 2017.
