Warner Bros. picks up MONSTRUMOLOGIST

Warner Bros. picked up the movie rights to Rick Yancey’s four-book Monstrumologist series.

Monstrumologist follows the story of Will Henry, an orphan under the care of Dr. Pellinore Warthrop who studies dangerous creatures and monsters. The horror story, set in 1888, kicks off when Dr. Warthrop find a baby Anthropophagus, a headless creature that eats people through a gaping hole in its chest.

Jessica Postigo, who wrote the movie adaptation of Cassandra Clare’s The City of Bones, will write the script.
