Tiffany Aching novel to be made into film

The Wee Free Men Terry PratchettSir Terry Pratchett’s The Wee Free Men will be adapted to the big screen. According to Entertainment Weekly, The Jim Henson Company, along with Narrativia, will create the film.

Published in 2003, The Wee Free Men follows Tiffany Aching, a young witch who teams up with six-inch-high men known as the Wee Free Men, in order to battle monsters in Fairyland. Bringing along her frying pan and humor, Tiffany finds herself not only facing the Queen of the Elves’ nightmare, but also her own powers.

The Jim Henson Company has won many Emmy and Grammy Awards and is known for the Muppets. Rhianna, Pratchett’s daughter and co-director of Narrativia will compose the script.
