Stiefvater’s THE SCORPIO RACES to hit big screens

The Scorpio Races by Maggie StiefvaterFocus Features bought the rights to Maggie Stiefvater’s The Scorpio Races.

Announced by The Hollywood Reporter, Stiefvater’s novel will be produced by David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith with Jack Thorne writing the adaptation. The contemporary fantasy takes place on the island of Thisby where water horses are raced every November. Only one person can win – and somebody always dies.
