Riggs shares title treatment for MISS PEREGRINE movie

Ransom Riggs’ creepy Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is becoming a full-length feature film with Tim Burton directing. It’s a perfect combination, and even the title treatment seems to nail the vibe of the books.

In Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Jacob abandons his family and goes wandering around a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. But the children were more than just peculiar – they were dangerous, gifted with special skills, and possibly – impossibly – still alive.

If you can’t wait for the film, you can take a look at the series – the first two, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Hollow City are available now, with the third and final book Library of Souls on its way this September. You can also peek at the spectacular cinematic book trailer directed by Riggs himself.
