Ransom Riggs to tour for LIBRARY OF SOULS

library of souls ransom riggsOne of the hottest books coming out this fall is the last book in Ransom Riggs’ Miss Peregrine series, Library of Souls. To celebrate its release, Riggs is making five tour stops across the United States.

In Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Jacob abandons his family and goes wandering around a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. But the children were more than just peculiar – they were dangerous, gifted with special skills, and possibly – impossibly – still alive. The first two books of the series – Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Hollow City – are available now, with Library of Souls on its way this September.

The first in the series is also being adapted into a movie directed by Tim Burton.

The tour dates can be seen below and are subject to change:

  • September 28 at 6 p.m. – Barnes & Noble Tribeca (New York, NY)
  • September 29 at 7 p.m. – Stratford High School / Hosted by Blue Willow Bookshop (Houston, TX) with Tahereh Mafi
  • September 30 at 7 p.m. – Wentz Auditorium / Hosted by Anderson’s Bookshop (Chicago, IL) with a performance by Sleeping at Last
  • October 3 at 2 p.m. – Barnes & Noble at the Grove (Los Angeles, CA)

Riggs will also host a costume party and “Booktuber Extravaganze” with Jesse the Reader, Xtinemay and Katietastic on October 2 in Atlanta, though the location has yet to be announced.
