Rainbow Rowell goes graphic with two new novels


eleanor and park rainbow rowellRainbow Rowell, author of the bestselling Eleanor and Park and Fangirl, has signed a two book deal with Callista Brill at First Second Books, a graphic novel imprint at Macmillan.

The two graphic novels, currently untitled, will both be in YA prose, similar to Fangirl. Faith Erin Hicks, the woman behind Friends with Boys and Nothing Can Possibly Go Wrong,  has signed on to illustrate the first of the graphic novels.
