Patrick Ness announces U.K. tour dates


the rest of us just live here patrick nessPatrick Ness‘ new book The Rest Of Us Just Live Here takes place in a world where there are plenty of Chosen Ones – but Mikey isn’t one, even if his best friend is worshiped by mountain lions. It’s a fun and fantastic breakdown of some of the tropes prevalent in literature. To celebrate its release, Patrick Ness will be touring the United Kingdom!

Tickets are required for every event. The tour dates can be seen below and are subject to change:

  • August 25 – Edinburgh Festival (Edinburgh)
  • September 3 – Waterstones Piccadilly (London)
  • September 9 – Waterstones (Liverpool)
  • September 10 – Watestones New Street (Birmingham)
  • September 16 – Story Museum (Oxford)
  • September 24 – Roedean School (Brighton)
  • September 26 – Bath Festival of Children’s Literature (Bath)
  • October 3 – Cheltenham Festival (Cheltenham) with David Almond
  • November 10 – Bolton Library (Bolton)
  • November 11 – Seven Stories (Newcastle)

Ness will also tour in Australia, the U.S. and New Zealand, though those dates have yet to be announced.
