NYC’s McNally Jackson to host YA events


the geography of you and me jennifer e smithMcNally Jackson Books in New York City will host a launch party for Jennifer E. Smith’s The Geography of You and Me on April 15th. In Geography, a chance meeting during a blackout, in an elevator stuck between floors, leaves its mark on Lucy and Owen; though they keep in touch long distance, can they find a way to reunite?

On May 9th, McNally Jackson Books will also host Broadway stars George Merrick (South Pacific), Kenita Miller (Xanadu, The Color Purple), and Katie Finneran (Annie) as they perform dramatic readings from Emmy Laybourne’s Monument 14 series. The Monument 14 series follows fourteen kids trapped in a chain superstore build a refuge from a series of escalating disasters. Eventually, some risk the dangers outside to find their families and friends, only to encounter even more threats to their safety.
