  1. I am currently reading a YA book for review: The Tyrant’s Daughter by JC Carlson, a former CIA operative (Random House). TD is the story of a deposed (and assassinated) Middle Eastern dictator- or king, depending on your view. We follow Laila, his daughter as she attempts to adjust to American life replete with high school angst, dances, cliques. It’s a slightly different YA book but well worth reading.
