New Line optioned the rights to Gayle Forman’s I Was Here, according to Hollywood Reporter. The I Was Here film has Forman herself attached as executive producer.
I Was Here, released in late January, follows 18-year-old Cody as she struggles to find answers in the wake of her best friend’s suicide.
