Malinda Lo’s INHERITANCE wins Bisexual Book Award


inheritance malinda loThe Bi Writers Association awarded Malinda Lo’s Inheritance the Bisexual Book Award for Teen/Young Adult Fiction.

Inheritance is the sequel to Lo’s Adaptation, and tells the story Reese and David, who were adapted with DNA from the alien race known as the Imria. While navigating through vast conspiracies Reese also has to deal with her love for David and her feelings for her ex-girlfriend, an Imrian named Amber.

“[It’s] a story that truly is not told very often in YA,” said Lo in a blog post. This is Lo’s first award.
