Lisa Glass’ surfing YA novel lands movie deal


blue lisa glassProducer Leighton Lloyd acquired the film rights for Blue by Lisa Glass, according to The Bookseller.

Blue follows 16-year-old Iris Fox and her relationship with professional surfer Zeke Francis over one summer. The book is already available in the U.K. and will come to the U.S. on May 5th.

Lloyd finalized the deal at the Roxy Girl Surf Event in Newquay, one of the main surfing town in Cornwall, U.K
