Lemony Snicket to emcee NBA Ceremony


Lemony Snicket (A Series of Unfortunate Events) will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the 65th National Book Awards.

Snicket is the first emcee to have both young adult and adult novels. In 2008, he chaired the NBA in Young People’s Literature.

Snicket’s young adult novels include A Series of Unfortunate Events and All the Wrong Questions. He has written three adult books under his real name, Daniel Handler. The latest, We Are Pirates, will hit shelves in February 2015.

This year’s awards will be held on November 19th at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
