Lambda Literary announces 2015 finalists


more happy than not adam silveraLambda Literary announced its finalists for its 2015 awards season.

The YA finalists for the best children’s and young adult novels are About A Girl by Sarah McCarry, Anything Could Happen by Will Walton, More Happy than Not by Adam Silvera, None of the Above by I.W. Gregorio and Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. Other nominees include Alex Gino’s George and Brian Zelznick’s The Marvels.

Maggie Thrash’s YA graphic novel Honor Girl was nominated for best LGBT graphic novel.

The Lambda Literary Awards celebrate achievement in lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender writing for books published in 2015. They will announce the winners in a ceremony in June 6.
