Kaitlyn Jeeb to play Camille in ABC Family’s “Shadowhunters”


Kaitlyn Jeeb will play Camille Belcourt in ABC Family’s “Shadowhunters,” a new TV adaptation of Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments series.

Camille Belcourt is the leader of a vampire clan and will be a recurring guest role for Leeb. Leeb recently starred in “Heartland” and “Degrassi: The Next Generation” and made an appearance on “Bitten,” an adaptation of Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series.

The adaptation will begin right at the start of City of Bones, the first book in the Mortal Instruments series. Clary Fray’s mother is kidnapped, forcing Fray into the dangerous world of the Shadowhunters. The cast includes includes Katherine McNamara as Clary Fray, Emereaude Toubia as Isabelle Lightwood, Dominic Sherwood as Jace Wayland, Alberto Rosende as Simon Lewis, Harry Shum Jr. as Magnus Bane, Matthew Daddario as Alec Lightwood and Isaiah Mustafa as Luke Garroway.
