GayYA launches first book club, chooses Rachel Gold’s JUST GIRLS


just girls rachel goldGayYA announced a new book club for 2015, starting with Just Girls by Rachel Gold.

In Just Girls, Jess Tucker pretends to be a transgender girl to stop the other people in her dorm from pointing fingers. Ella finds a slur tagged on Jess’ wall – a slur that was meant for her.

The book club will last throughout the month of January, including an hour-long Twitter chat hosted by Katherine Locke (Second Position) on January 21st at 8 p.m.

GayYA is an up-and-coming website for LGBTIQPIA+ literature run by two queer teenage girls.
