Fox and Temple Hill acquire Marie Lu’s THE YOUNG ELITES

the young elites marie luFox and Temple Hill Entertainment acquired the film rights to Marie Lu’s bestselling dystopian fantasy The Young Elites.

The Young Elites follows Adelina Amouteru, the survivor of a deadly illness which turned her black hair silver and left her with only a jagged scar where her left eye once was. But the fever also left Adelina with mysterious and powerful abilities, and a desire to destroy all who dare to cross her.

The Hollywood Reporter announced that Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey will produce the film adaptation.  Godfrey is also on board to produce the film adaptation of Legend, Marie Lu’s debut YA novel.

“Both Temple Hill & Fox are on board with honoring Adelina’s descent into villainry, for which I’m very excited and grateful. Bad girls ftw!” said Lu on Twitter.
