FLAWED movie adaptation lands screenwriter

flawed cecelia ahernMovie rights to Cecelia Ahern’s Flawed were snatched up by Warner Bros., and instead of sitting on rights, the company seems to be moving ahead with the project. According to Variety, Rebekah F. Smith, writer of the CBS show “Zoo,” has been tapped to write the script for the Flawed movie.

In Flawed, Celestine North lives a perfect life. She’s a model daughter and sister, she’s well-liked by her classmates and teachers, and she’s dating the impossibly charming Art Crevan. But then Celestine encounters a situation where she makes an instinctive decision. She breaks a rule. And now faces life-changing repercussions. She could be imprisoned. She could be branded. She could be found FLAWED.

Flawed releases on April 5.
