DEAD GIRLS DETECTIVE AGENCY sells adaptation rights for web series

Looking for a YA paranormal web series to sink your teeth into? You’re in luck! Co-producers Digital TV studio Insurrection Media and Keshet Studios bought the rights to adapt The Dead Girls Detective Agency by Suzy Cox into a web series.

Pop quiz: What would you do if you had to solve your own murder to get anywhere in death? That’s exactly what Charlotte finds out when she wakes up in a Manhattan hotel, surrounded by girls who tell her she’s dead. Unless she can figure out who killed her, she’ll never get out of limbo and will be stuck playing Nancy Drew for eternity.

The adaptation of The Dead Girls Detective Agency is part of a book-to-tv partnership with Insurrection and HarperCollins, where select books are optioned and developed into digital video and linear television series.

Production for the series is slated for March.
