New York Times bestselling author David Levithan announced via Twitter on August 27th that “$2 for every Two Boys Kissing sold for the first two weeks will go to The Trevor Project”.
David Levithan has written several several bestselling novels, including collaborations with Rachel Cohn and John Green. Several have touched on LGBTQIA+ characters, including his very first novel Boy Meets Boy and Will Grayson, Will Grayson with John Green.
David’s Two Boys Kissing follows two 17-year-old boys in a romantic relationship. They decide to take a part in the new Guinness World Record challenge – a 32-hour kissing marathon.
The Trevor Project provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQIA+ young adults. “The life-saving, life-affirming work of The Trevor Project springs from the powerful intersection of storytelling on stage and film,” according to the Trevor Project’s website.
