Cheltenham Festival to feature YA panels


The 2014 Cheltenham Literature Festival revealed their full line-up of events.  The festival is an annual celebration of the U.K.’s music, science and literature.  This year, the festival will be held from October 4th – 12th and several young adult authors will be in attendance.

The current program of events featuring young adult authors can be seen below and is subject to change:

  • October 4 at 11:45 a.m. Malorie Blackman
  • October 4 at 2:30 p.m. How to Blog With Holly Bourne
  • October 4 at 2:30 p.m. — Geek Girls and Flirty Dancing (with Holly Smale and Jenny McLachlan)
  • October 4 at 5 p.m. — Teen Fiction Picks With Nicolette Jones
  • October 4 at 6:45 p.m. — Nick Hornby
  • October 5 at 4 p.m. — Garth Nix and Ursula Jones
  • October 5 at 5:45 p.m. — Michael Grant and Charlie Higson
  • October 11 at 1:15 p.m. — Hate, Terror, Riots (with Benjamin Zephaniah, Alan Gibbons and Catherine Bruton)
  • October 11 at 6 p.m. — Lobsters, Love and Being a Boy (with Tom Ellen, Lucy Ivison and James Dawson)
  • October 12 at 3:15 p.m. — Mark Haddon
  • October 12 at 5:30 p.m. — Mutants, Aliens and Assassins (with Justin Somper, Mark Walden and Steve Feasey)
