Cassandra Clare is the author of the Mortal Instruments and the Infernal Devices series, which both take place in the world of the demon-fighting Shadowhunters.
At her first panel on Friday, Clare will treat fans to a Q&A session about about her new Dark Artifices trilogy – which is also set in the Shadowhunters world – as well as give fans a sneak peek of Lady Midnight, the first in the series.
The cover of Lady Midnight will be released during the convention.
Clare will sit on the second panel, put together by ABC Family, for the TV adaptation of her Mortal Instruments series. ‘Shadowhunters’ will begin right at the start of City of Bones, the first book in the Mortal Instruments series. Clary Fray’s mother is kidnapped, forcing Fray into the dangerous world of the Shadowhunters.
