Capstone Publishing adds new YA imprint Switch Press

Children’s publishers Capstone Young Readers are launching Switch Press, a new young adult imprint covering a wide range of genres, including contemporary non-fiction, narrative nonfiction, historical fiction, fantasy, graphic novels and poetry.  The first novel of the new imprint, The Isobel Journal by Isobel Harrop is due to be released this August, with several more titles planned for fall 2014 publication.  Switch Press plan to release eight to 12 young adult novels per year from spring 2015.

The name Switch Press was chosen to reflect the variety of young adult interests and the “notion of turning [YA readers] on to new ideas,” said Capstone Young Readers senior product manager John Rahm.

Capstone Publishing plan to launch a new website for Switch Press this May to promote their new titles.
