Canadian YA Book Club talks ABOVE on February 22

above leah bobetThe Canadian YA Book Club announced that their chat for Leah Bobet’s Above would take place on February 22 at 4pm EST.

Above follows Matthew and Ariel and their life in the Safe, an underground reuge from the city Above. But when enemies invade the Safe with an army of shadows, Matthew and Ariel must escape Above and remake their home.

The Canadian YA Book Club is open to anybody in the world. The focus isn’t on Canadian YA readers, but YA novels written by Canadian authors or any author with a connection to Canada. They read one book every two months.

The club also announced its picks for the rest of the year. March and April will be dedicated to Megan Crewe’s The Way We Fall. May and June is devoted to Courtney Summers’ All The Rage. July and August is devoted to Karen Bass’ Drummer Girl. September and October is devoted to Erin Bow’s Sorrow’s Knot. November and December will be voted on by the book club members.
