Anna Carey’s BLACKBIRD to become film


Lionsgate is in negotiations to acquire Anna Carey’s Blackbird, according to Deadline.

Blackbird is a novel written in the second person that released in September from HarperTeen. A young girl wakes up with no memory of who she was, with instructions in her backpack and murderers on her tail. The screenplay would be written by Danny Mackey, with Alloy Entertainment involved in the production.
