Amber Keyser’s wilderness novel to be released in 2015

Carolrhoda Labs will release Amber Keyer’s new young adult novel The Way Back from Broken in fall 2015.

The Way Back from Broken follows one 15-year-old and one 10-year-old who are taken into the wilderness by one of their mothers. Keyser described The Way Back from Broken as the book of her heart.

When I brought it forth, it cemented the tender repairs to my shattered self. When I laid it before my friend and agent, Fiona Kenshole, she knew it for what it was–an offering, a prayer, the completion of a promise. She guided it into the most trustworthy of hands.  Andrew Karre is an editor who knows blood on the page when he sees it. I am grateful,” said Keyer in a blog post.

Amber Keyser  is a biologist as well as an author. For more about her, visit her website or follow her on Facebook or Twitter.
