ALEX RIDER author Anthony Horowitz receives OBE title


Anthony Horowitz, British children’s and young adult author of the best-selling Alex Rider and The Gatekeepers series, has been named an Officer of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to literature.  Anthony Horowitz is the prolific author of several successful young adult series and stand-alone novels, and also writes for British television.

Horowitz is best known for Alex Rider, an espionage series about a teenage spy.  His most recent young adult series, The Gatekeepers, was completed in 2012.  The Gatekeepers (also published as The Power of Five) is the story of five teenagers from all walks of life, who together have the power to control and banish an evil force which threatens to destroy the world.
