26th Annual Lambda Literary Awards annouces winners


if you could be mine sara farizanThe winners of the 26th Annual Lambda Literary Awards were announced on June 3rd at a ceremony hosted by comedienne Kate Clinton.

The awards celebrate the best lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender books of the year. Categories included gay general fiction, lesbian general fiction, LGBT debut, gay memoir/biography, lesbian mystery and transgender fiction.

Sara Farizan (If You Could Be Mine) tied with David Levithan (Two Boys Kissing) for the LGBT Children’s/YA award.
